TDLidar turns your iPhone into a live depth-sensing camera and a 40-sensor streaming hub for TouchDesigner, OBS, Resolume, and any NDI-aware tool on your network. Send LiDAR depth over the air, plus body and hand tracking, audio, motion, light, and dozens more sensors — straight to your show machine, no capture card or tether required. Streaming the iPhone's depth into a live show used to mean cables, capture cards, drivers, and latency. TDLidar replaces all of that with a single tap: open the app, tap Start NDI, and your iPhone appears as a 1080p / 60 fps NDI source on every machine on the network — ready for TouchDesigner, OBS, or any NDI receiver. WHAT YOU CAN DO NDI Depth Streaming Send the front TrueDepth or rear LiDAR feed over NDI in real time. Every depth mode — Environment, Face Detail, Raw, Point Cloud — runs on both cameras. 15 colormaps, raw depth, topographic banding, posterisation, depth clipping, and live HD upscale. Every setting changes the stream instantly. Sensors mode A full dashboard of ~40 on-device sensors. Enable the ones you need, preview each live, and stream them to TouchDesigner as clean OSC namespaces — ARKit body / hands / face, animal pose, QR / rectangle / text detection, saliency, scene classification, AR planes & mesh, 6DoF device pose, camera exposure, ambient & directional light, front/back distance, mic level, live audio FFT, on-device speech, sound ID, the full motion suite, AirPods head pose, Apple Watch heart rate, and NFC. Camera-based sensors also broadcast over NDI. Point Cloud Streaming to TouchDesigner (Pro) Send a real point cloud — up to 50,000 points, bit-exact XYZ + RGB — into TouchDesigner POP geometry over a fast local connection. The matching TouchDesigner operator family is linked from inside the app. Point Cloud Photos (Pro) Freeze the live LiDAR cloud into an interactive 3D "photo" and explore it from any angle — one finger to orbit, two to move, pinch to zoom. Tap the shutter to save a 3D model; hold it to record an orbit video. Re-open any capture, export to PLY for Blender or TouchDesigner, and save orbit videos to Photos. Raw Mode in Colour (Pro) 15 depth colour maps, each painting the depth field and drawing its own topographic contour lines, with adjustable line thickness and a global colour grade. Pro Features Point Cloud Photos, point-cloud streaming, raw topographic colour maps, HD upscale, extended LiDAR range, and the premium colormap pack. 9.1.0 — New Monocular Depth mode New: Monocular Depth mode A neural depth camera that runs entirely on-device on the regular RGB camera — so depth visuals and NDI now work on every iPhone, with no LiDAR or TrueDepth required. Pick a colormap, invert it, and tune brightness / contrast / gamma, or let Auto-Adjust read the scene light and tune them for you. Front or back camera, with temporal smoothing for a steady image. • Stream it to TouchDesigner or OBS over NDI, or record it straight to your gallery • Alpha-mask the background to transparent for clean compositing • HD upscale on the NDI feed and recordings Fixes • Corrected the Front Distance sensor's camera orientation • Smaller sensor and stability fixes Monocular Depth is a Pro feature.
