Saws From Sunset turns your camera into a musical instrument. Point it at anything: a sunset, a painting, a neon sign, your cat, and the colors you see become the notes you hear. HOW IT WORKS The crosshair samples color from the live camera feed and maps it to pitch in real time. Reds are low, blues are high. Move the camera and the music moves with you. INSTRUMENTS & MODES • Stargazer — soft sine voices drift through your scale, drawn from random pixels in the frame • Fat Reese — a deep, detuned bass that locks to the harmony • Heavens Arp — a shimmering bell arpeggiator in the upper register • The Lumens — animated characters that play melodies near lights and shadows in the frame • Catophone / Doggophone — pitch-shifted meows and barks • Color Memory Trails — glowing light trails that echo your notes • Chromatic Magic — slow ambient chords with chromatic voice leading SOUND DESIGN Full ADSR envelope, reverb, delay, chorus, shimmer, bitcrusher, tape saturation, and LFO routable to vibrato, filter, or tremolo.
